ABOUT YOU:
Seeking individuals who are graduates in electrical and instrumentation or electronic engineering, ideally you will be able to work independently, demonstrating curiosity, analytical skills, and a degree of creativity.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team and play a pivotal role in building and implementing a maintenance program from scratch. Being part of this initiative early in your career will provide valuable insight into the intricacies of program development and maintenance.
YOU WILL ALSO BRING:
- Bachelor Degree and/or higher in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical)
- Ability to translate abstract risk issues into understandable technical terms.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with great people skills.
- A high level of professionalism and a positive demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy with intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a recent engineering graduate to join our Gas Markets Asset Management team as a Graduate Maintenance Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to kickstart your career in Australia’s dynamic energy industry while contributing to our mission towards achieving a net-zero future.
As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to gain practical experience in asset maintenance and management, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize operational efficiency and ensure the safety and reliability of our assets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Optimising maintenance processes to enhance efficiency within the framework of the Asset Management System.
- Supporting the Maintenance Manager and Engineer on efficiency projects and planning.
- Recommending process changes to optimize plant performance.
- Implementing approved efficiency improvements to support long-term asset value.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop maintenance procedures for optimal asset operation.
