Graduate Health Promotion Practitioner - Full-time Fixed Term Position (12 months)
Those eligible to apply will have graduated from a Bachelor Degree or related Health Promotion qualification in 2023 and are entering the workforce as a new graduate health promotion practitioner.
WHAT ARE THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED?
- A Bachelor Degree in Health Promotion, Health Sciences or equivalent
- An understanding of health promotion core competencies
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Desirable:
- An understanding of settings based and systems approaches
- Relevant volunteer experience
Responsibilities:
This is a unique opportunity to be part of the innovative Health Promotion Team within Monash Health Community, working across the local government areas of Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia. If you are a Health Promotion graduate with energy, drive, a willingness to learn and possess a flexible work approach, then this will appeal to you. This role will implement health promotion initiatives utilising contemporary health promotion practices within a supportive team environment. The role will be a mix of site based (Cranbourne) and work from home. Travel to settings within the local government areas serviced and to other Monash Health sites is a requirement.
