A well-established injection blow moulding plastic manufacturing company manufacturing products for the fragrance industry requires the above to assist in the lab handling various laboratory duties.

SALARY PACKAGE, INCLUDING BENEFITS, IS HIGHLY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE GAINED.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

• A diploma or degree in chemistry or related is preferred.
• The company is happy to train a graduate with no work experience into this role.
• Must have strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Basic Excel skills are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team are essential.
• Must be attentive to detail.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Working closely in a team within the lab handling all laboratory duties.
• Testing and approving products
• Handling inline production updates.
• Testing finished products and calibrating measuring and testing equipment.
• Troubleshooting quality defects.
• Filling testing logs and laboratory paperwork.
• Sampling procedures and testing manufacturing processes, methods and standards.
• Conducting in-process quality checks.
