Description:

We’re on the hunt for a sharp, spirited Graduate Lawyer ready to dive into a sea of exciting legal challenges within an expanding global legal function. You’ll advise on a broad range of legal matters including general commercial, consumer law, data, privacy and other key areas. You’ll also contribute to developing internal legal processes to assist operations and the growth of the company. What Will You Do?

  • Work and expand your skill sets under the supervision of excellent senior lawyers
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts like a pro.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on compliance, ensuring our contracts are not just signed but also meticulously performed.
  • Be the legal sleuth – identifying risks and crafting clever mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with our General Counsel to smoothly navigate and resolve disputes.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping updated with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to contract management and efficient record keeping systems.
  • Evaluate risk factors, offer advice and apply effective risk management techniques
  • Drive the development of internal policies and fortify our compliance frameworks.
  • Engage in legal research and provide razor-sharp legal reasoning across various domains.
  • Build trusted relationships both internally and externally, turning complex legal jargon into clear, actionable advice.
  • Support the global team as required

Who You Are:

  • You have a valid Practising Certificate from the Law Society of NSW.
  • 0-2 years of post-admission experience, whether you’ve been in private practice or an in-house wonder.
  • Stellar interpersonal skills to foster relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Can work both under supervision and independently
  • A passion for law and an unyielding commitment to professional growth and ethical standards.
