Graduate M&E Site Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity available at Bouygues Energies & Services (BYES) for a Graduate Site Engineer (mechanical & electrical) to join our Hinkley Point C (HPC) team.
It’s a very exciting time to be joining Bouygues! We have been delivering a Turn-key EPC contract for the Hinkley Point C new build nuclear power plant Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG).
The successful candidate would have the opportunity to work alongside a group of very dedicated and knowledgeable individuals within our team, and be able to contribute to the work that we are carrying out on this innovative and technically challenging project.

• Coordination of allocated work packages for design, manufacturing and installation activities.
• Review the deliverables issued by the installer and equipment suppliers, ensuring they meet the technical and quality requirements of the Client.
• Coordinate with Layout team to compile As-built information and update PDMS models as required.
• Technical supervision/management of the equipment suppliers (planning, reporting etc).
• Participate/contribute to the detailed design of the equipment and their procurement process.
• Support the Work Package Lead in supplier selection, subcontract management, manufacturing surveillance and management of inspections.
• Liaise with the erection, testing & commissioning team to prepare method statements and risk assessments.
