Team Introduction
Multimedia Platform department is mainly responsible for multimedia processing systems, including video transcoding systems, cloud editing systems and image processing systems. The technology stack involved includes backend services, multimedia engineering, multimedia frameworks, heterogeneous computing, etc. Our platform processes hundreds of millions of videos and tens of billions of pictures every day, strongly supporting the development of TikTok. Our vision is to build the best multimedia processing platform and become the best multimedia engineering architecture team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of common heterogeneous acceleration (GPU/DSP/NPU) libraries used in ByteDance video center (server sides) or various mobile applications (client sides).
• Responsible for the heterogeneous optimization of various video enhancement algorithms and video analysis algorithms, including but not limited to operator optimization, neural network optimization, pipeline optimization, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Good C/C++ foundation, excellent coding ability;

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in GPU parallel processing development on CUDA platforms is preferred.
• Experience in heterogeneous computing optimization on mobile platforms is preferred.
• Strong algorithm implementation ability, familiar with GPU structure and principle, abstract thinking of parallel processing problems is preferred.
• Experience in image/video algorithm development is preferred.
• Strong learning and research ability, good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
