Job Summary
Seeking a Graduate Planning Engineer to join our team for a large-scale engineering and construction project in the pharmaceutical sector. This role involves developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely project delivery. The position is based in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
The Graduate Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules for a large-scale engineering and construction project in the pharmaceutical sector. They will monitor project progress, analyse data, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
Develop and maintain project schedules, considering engineering and construction requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to align planning efforts with project goals
Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks
Implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to schedules
Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders
Utilise project management tools to track progress and analyse data
Continuously improve planning processes and implement best practices for effective scheduling
Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has a strong academic background in engineering or construction management and a keen interest in the pharmaceutical sector. They excel in developing schedules, monitoring progress, and implementing corrective actions. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with proficiency in project management tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Biomedical Engineering or related field
Some experience or internship in project planning and scheduling is a plus
Effective collaborator, fostering a positive team environment
Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical project planning and scheduling standards is a plus
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in project management tools for data analysis and reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying project plans and requirements
Committed to professional development, staying updated on industry trends and best practices
Must have EU citizenship
