OMLP accelerates development of early career talent and produces operational leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (manufacturing engineering, manufacturing supervision, sourcing, planning and logistics), Quality (internal and suppliers) and EHS at GE.

OMLP accelerates development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, materials, and quality) functions at GE Vernova. Rotation business segments include: Power, Wind, and Electrification.
OMLP is a 2-year rotational program consisting of 4 six-month rotations that allow members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging assignments and world-class training. Training topics include lean, functional expertise (EHS, quality, materials, sourcing, manufacturing engineering, etc.), as well as leadership and personal development topics.
There are 3 mandatory rotation types every OMLP will complete:
- Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor (people leader of hourly workforce)
- Sourcing/Materials Management (procurement, material flow)
- Technical – (quality, lean, manufacturing engineer / process engineer)
We want people who have a passion for improving efficiencies, eliminating waste, working in teams, demonstrating a positive attitude, and managing through challenging and difficult situations. Our program members have the opportunity to take part in world class course work and practical application which includes training in Safety (EHS - environmental health and safety), Quality, Sourcing, Materials, Lean, and people leadership. All OMLPs also receive their APICS CPIM certification. The experience gained during the rotational assignments, learning & development, and career mentorship & coaching positions OMLP members for accelerated career growth within the supply chain.

As an OMLP you will have a unique opportunity to develop a broad operational knowledge base and skillset by working in across our supply chain function.

Qualifications/Requirements :
Freshly graduated: no more then 2 years of industry experience
MSc or BSc Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain (Supply Chain degrees should have manufacturing or operations experience)
Prior work experience - including but not limited to work in a manufacturing setting (internship or associate).
Advanced level of German, Intermediate English
Must be open to relocation on program (within the country) and have desire to stay in home country upon graduation from the program.
