ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor level tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil) or similar
  • Previous work experience on a mining or civil infrastructure project (earthworks, drainage etc)
  • An ability to read and implement engineering plans and specifications and interpret contracts
  • Highly effective planning, organising and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail

Responsibilities:

An opportunity has been created for a Graduate Site Engineer to join our team, initially based on a significant mining construction project in Orange, NSW. Chartered flights provided from Brisbane Airport. The work is on an 8/6 FIFO roster. This is a full-time role reporting to the Project Engineer, where you will be responsible for assisting the project management team with administration, planning and scheduling of daily project activities.
Responsibilities will include conducting quality assurance, project administration, procurement, ensuring workplace health and safety, and managing people/subcontractors to ensure the project meets deadlines. The role demands strong drive to achieve required outcomes, whilst maintaining a positive and productive attitude.
