Description:

Job Title: Grant and Agreement Support Specialist II
Job Type: Full-Time Position 90k-125k Annually or
Job Type: Part-time / 1099 @ 45-70 hourly
Location: Remote Position / Local to DC

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, supervise, and lead administrative business, policy, and analytical work, including overseeing the management, award, and obligation of funds for grants, cooperative, and interagency agreements, utilizing financial, administrative, business, and negotiation procedures.
  • Provide intermediate expertise and support for the planning, implementing, and evaluating grant proposals.
  • Provide guidance and support for interagency and cooperative agreements, including assembling, coordinating requisition documentation, and administering Interagency and Cooperative Agreements.
  • Provide intermediate support to negotiate, award, and review all reimbursement requests for appropriateness.
  • Ensure awardees comply with established administrative and financial policies, procedures, and sound business practices.
  • Provide intermediate support to monitor all phases of award and closing, including assessment of technical progress and performance.
  • Apply analytical and evaluation techniques to identify and resolve grant administration issues and be knowledgeable of laws, regulations, agency policy, precedent cases, and other requirements that affect grant program administration.
  • Provide intermediate support for the administration, termination, and/or closeout of grants, interagency agreements, and/or cooperative agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with the laws, regulations, rules, policies, procedures, and methods governing the administration of federal grants, cooperative agreements, interagency agreements, and awards.
  • Experience in automated systems and software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.
