The Global Heat Reduction Initiative (GHRi) is seeking a passionate Grant Researcher and Writer to support our team and play a critical role in securing funding for our innovative climate accounting solution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in grant research and writing
- Proven track record of securing grant funding
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for climate action and a strong understanding of climate change issues
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in environmental science, public policy, or a related field
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research to identify grant opportunities aligned with GHRi’s climate accounting innovation
- Analyze grant guidelines and eligibility requirements
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive grant funding database
- Prioritize grant opportunities based on potential impact and funding availability
- Write persuasive and well-structured grant proposals that effectively communicate GHRi’s mission and the value proposition of our solution
- Collaborate with GHRi staff to gather necessary information and data for grant applications
- Manage the grant application process, including deadlines and communication with funders
- Track the progress of submitted proposals and maintain communication with grantors
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in climate change funding and grant opportunities
