In qualità di ambasciatore dei prodotti e dei servizi di Eataly, l’ Assistente alle vendite al dettaglio ha la responsabilità di contribuire a creare e mantenere esperienze di qualità per ogni ospite che viene a Eataly. Gli ambasciatori di Eataly sono tenuti a interagire attivamente con gli ospiti e a trascorrere del tempo di qualità con ciascun cliente.

ON-THE-JOB TRAINING WITH OUR MANAGER AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK AT THE TOP LEVEL OF THE ITALIAN FOOD AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY;

• 1 meal a day

Areas of activity

• Provide fast, efficient and friendly customer service.?
• Assisting customers by: ?Escorting them to the products they are looking for; Handing products that are out of reach; Loading or unloading heavy items; Noting and relaying customer suggestions or requests; Facilitating customer payment at checkout.
• Receiving product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
• Ensure that all food products are laid out and marketed according to quality standards.
• Effective coordination of stock and storage of food products.
• Communicating respectfully and effectively with customers at all times.
• Quickly and efficiently communicating food needs, adjustments and problems to the Food Manager.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with all departmental procedures and federal and state regulations.
• Perform light cleaning duties as required such as sweeping, dusting and disposal of packaging.

• Working as a team with colleagues; maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to help others.

• Punctuality - adhering to work schedule and showing up for work on time.

• Adhering to all company and department procedures, policies, expectations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.?
• Previous customer service experience in a grocery shop preferred.?
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management and guests.?
• Physical ability to work under pressure (standing, bending, stooping, etc.).
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.?
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Basic maths, logic and computer skills required.
• Knowledge of German (fluent) or English (fluent). Italian language is a plus.
