QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 – 12+ years of relevant experience
- Have a passion and knowledge of the sport and entertainment industry
- Experienced in leading complex cross-functional projects (inclusive of brand, digital, media, communications, and product streams) across diverse APAC markets
- Experience in partnerships (in any category, traditional or media) or in sports, gaming, or entertainment
- Extensive experience of owning and growing positive and effective relationships with senior client stakeholders, resulting in account growth and evolution; ability to cultivate strong relationships with staff, other internal stakeholders, vendors and partners
- Exceptional attention to detail, alongside organisational, time and project management skills
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate clearly and offer a strong, collaborative and constructive presence and personality in client and internal meetings – communicating with conviction, enthusiasm and confidence
- Ability to balance multiple sophisticated tasks simultaneously
- Capacity to quickly become knowledgeable on our clients’ industry, brand and product offerings

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced Group Account Director (GAD) to lead key global client accounts in Singapore. In addition, the GAD will have scope and opportunity to extend their expertise to other existing client programs and development of new business opportunities. The role will report to the Client Services Director and would also take part in broader internal planning initiatives and business growth.
This role will form part of the cross-border team delivering strategy, campaigns, activations and events for a major global brand with significant global sponsorship properties.
The GAD will lead the business partnering with the Regional Managing Director (SGP), Regional Strategy Director and Regional Executive Creative Director to define, develop and deliver exceptional sponsorship campaigns and activations. They will be responsible for holding and building senior client and partner relationships globally through exceptional client service to deliver complex, multi-channel workstreams and activities.
We are looking for a seasoned leader who can work independently to drive the brand and business forward and will ideally have a proven track record of working with large multinational brands and rights holders to deliver effective sponsorship activities.
With your passion for details and love for the process, you will excel in a fast-paced environment. As an effective communicator and persuasive writer, you will produce compelling presentations while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your strong leadership skills, credibility, and track record of innovative thinking will make you an invaluable asset in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the day-to-day senior leader of one (or more) key Octagon client accounts, creating and fostering relationships with senior client leaders as the trusted advisor and driving new initiatives
- Lead the brands biggest sponsorship property – collaborating with strategy, production and creative teams to create integrated solutions that drive business results. This will include negotiating and managing senior colleagues at both the client and rightsholder
- Develop sophisticated integrated marketing programs for our clients and lead project teams in producing programs for the assigned clients
- Lead from the front with a ‘can do’ attitude and proactive ownership of projects and process, upholding the highest quality standards, both in service and deliverables
- Lead the account team which includes leading client status meetings, managing programming tracking documents, developing informative & thoughtful POVs, crafting insightful wrap-up reports that will advise sensible marketing plans and real-time campaign improvements, and strategic budget management capabilities
- Be the main integrator between the client, their other agency partners and our internal specialty disciplines
- Develop sell in decks, presentations, POV, insights and result reports to be presented to internal and external audiences
