Description:

We at Damovo Poland, are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant - Group Finance (m/f/d) to join our dynamic and international Group Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IFRS accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various accounting tasks for our UK holding companies
  • Participate in the consolidation of financial statements from individual units into consolidated financial statements
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for various stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
  • Assist in planning and preparing monthly P&L statements and cash flow forecasts, as well as annual plans
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and implement/review associated contracts and legal documents
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting principles and guidelines
  • Support the audit process for the preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements

Experience and skills we are looking for

  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a corporate environment
  • Proficient knowledge of IFRS accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications; experience with SAP and LucaNet is a plus
  • Proficiency in English is essential, as the role involves communication and collaboration at a group level
  • A strong interest in process improvement and the further development of software solutions
