  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is a must along with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines.
  • Committee / Board Secretariat experience is preferred.
  • IT-savvy with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • SAP experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience in local and central government would be highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrable experience in working within a close-knit team.
  • The ability to work within a role which includes policies, procedures and protocols.

TE TŪRANGA | ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Group’s central administration team, supporting the larger group who are working on some exciting and significant projects to shape the future of this city. We are looking for someone who is flexible to work between 30 and 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday. Part of this role will include working with the Group PA in providing efficient, effective and high-quality secretariat and administration support to the SmartGrowth Partnership - www.smartgrowthbop.org.nz

This role includes:

  • Administration support to the SmartGrowth partnership will include scheduling & attending meetings both at Council offices and external locations, preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, presentations, minute taking and updating the SmartGrowth website.
  • Providing reliable and efficient administrative support to the Group, including project support, document formatting, scheduling meetings & workshops.
  • Processing purchase orders, receipting invoices, drafting reimbursements claims.
  • Assistance with coordination of administration logistics surrounding the Strategy, Growth & Governance Group.
  • Administration support to the Group Exec PA as required.
  • Be willing to become a fountain of knowledge within the Admin Team.
