Do you want to be the key person in procurement of services and material for our production sites in Finland? Then you are the right person for our location in Porvoo, where we are looking for a Group Buyer in our dynamic global Procurement Team!

In this role, you are mainly responsible for:

  • make sure that you maintain contracts, purchase orders and master data in respective IT-systems
  • negotiate, re-negotiate and tender new and existing local contracts for the related category (mainly services and goods)
  • look out for standardization and consolidation potential within our supplier landscape and drive/initiate simplification in line with the global and local strategies
  • follow-up supplier quality and delivery performance and participate in supplier development programmes
  • ensure compliance to the group commodity strategies/established group contracts as well as to the defined procurement processes & procedures
  • act as a backup for other categories

Profile description:
You are the right person for this role, if you have finished your University degree in business or similar and you have already gained relevant work experience in procurement. You are comfortable using SAP and Ariba on a daily basis. Moreover, you are communicative person with a growth mindset and enjoy working in diverse teams. To succeed in this role you are fluent in Finnish and English and you are in the possession of strong negotiation skills as well as having the ability to positively convince & motivate others. Willingness to travel is a requirement.
