Crown Resorts has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced procurement professional to lead the IT & Gaming category, supporting our Sydney, Melbourne and Perth properties. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Procurement, you’ll provide guidance and direction in your category, including supplying market analysis, commercial management and development, strategic long-term planning and execution, and contract and risk management activities, to meet business needs across Crown’s integrated resorts at a group-wide level.

Responsibilities:

SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Drive strategic sourcing events with the key focus on optimizing cost, quality, delivery & technology standards to the business with a focus on bringing a local (site by site) perspective to a national category
  • Develop genuine relationships with the BUs to gain a better understanding of product and service offering needs, provide solutions to issues and provide strategic procurement advice to maximise commercial outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement and KPI performance reviews with key suppliers (via Supplier Relationship Management Program) and correctively action poor performing suppliers
  • Improve property performance via supplier consolidation, negotiating commercial supplier arrangements and developing strategic partnerships
  • Oversee the day-to-day sourcing of new services and special sourcing to ensure they are in alignment with overall category strategy
  • Prepare monthly status reports on work undertaken and planned
  • Build and maintain productive internal and external relationships to facilitate the delivery of Category Strategy and objectives
  • Lead, mentor and develop direct reports as well as driving KPI performance where required
