GROUP CONSUMABLES MANAGER Dynamic international company is seeking the services of a GROUP CONSUMABLES MANAGER, to head up the Consumables Business Unit. The position will report directly to the Managing Director. Salary: R65,000 to R70,000 - cost to company. (based on experience) Suitable candidates must conform to the following criteria:

Main duties:

• Managing Profitability of the Business Unit

Liaising with upper management, to develop budgets, setting strategic goals and evaluating outcomes to monitor overall success.

• Effective stock management
• Report analysis on stock (slow movers and dead stock)
• Driving a high level of customer service

Drive revenue and sales growth within the Business Unit through effective strategies and initiatives.
Management & Development of staff

Creating and implementing departmental procedures to ensure the division operates efficiently. Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 3-5 years of Management level experience, at a Senior Level
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, Pastel, Outlook, Power Point)
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Proven leadership abilities and management of staff
• Must be self motivated and assertive, pro-active in approach
• A successful track record in sales, profit management, stock management including purchase management and strategic planning.
• Must be organised, efficient, creative and assertive with strong communication skills on all levels.
• Honest and trustworthy
• Great attention to detail
• Presentable and well spoken
• Team Player who leads by example
