THE GLENEAGLE GROUP IS LOOKING FOR A GROUP DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER TO JOIN OUR TEAM.

The Gleneagle Group consists of the Gleneagle Hotel and Gleneagle INEC Arena, a 279-bedroom hotel, with several bars and restaurants, extensive leisure facilities, day spa, retail space, banqueting and entertainment spaces for up to 4000 people, separate meeting and function rooms and self-catering apartments. There are a lot of moving parts with a core Gleneagle hotel team and separate teams for Gleneagle INEC Entertainment events and KCC business tourism events. The 4* Maritime Hotel set on Bantry Bay has 125 bedrooms and banqueting and leisure facilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible for the overall digital marketing & CRM performance for our brands, taking direction and guidance from our Group Marketing Director, to meet business, marketing, and brand objectives. The successful candidate must have direct experience in managing and implementing digital marketing campaigns, with a particular focus on website/ecommerce. This role requires a strong level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders in a multi-business environment.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for assisting the Group Marketing Director in the development and execution of the digital marketing strategy for each of the individual hotels and business units in the group.
  • Assist the Group Marketing Director in creating and costing digital marketing budgets per individual hotel and the measurement of results vs agreed KPI’s.
  • Responsible for the updating and maintenance of company websites, ensuring imagery, content, copy etc. is up to date and continually evolving in line with business priorities and best practice.
  • Manage the relationships with the key contacts in our hotels & business units taking a proactive and collaborative approach to building marketing plans.
  • Attend revenue meeting to identify revenue opportunities that digital can influence, execute on these opportunities in line with brand objectives and coordinating all online channels with offline marketing channels.
  • Plan and deliver CRM strategy with a view of retaining existing customers, improving customer experience, increasing repeat visitation, and growing qualified databases.
  • Work with the Group Marketing Director and external partners on the implementation and optimisation of digital marketing activities (e.g. PPC, SEO. Display) reporting on and evaluating the performance of different activities.
  • Project management of key marketing projects for the hotels & Arena as necessary e.g. brand positioning development, new website build etc.
  • Identify and lead marketing activities (that are additional to the always-on ecommerce strand) and work with the hotels and partners on brand campaigns, content development and social/video content.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
