Key accountabilities include:
- Development & coaching of team members to build bench strength capability & inspire to be their best individually & collectively every day
- Providing operational accounting support across the centre with a focus on ensuring appropriate controls, policies & processes are embedded across the business
- Ensuring data integrity & reliability to support financial reporting and decision making
- Ensuring technology is appropriately leveraged & opportunities to simplify processes are front of mind
- Identifying & executing changing accounting regulations & standards including preparing & presenting technical papers for delivery to stakeholders
- Undertaking financial due diligence on potential acquisitions, with recommendations & delivering integration pathway & milestones
- Focusing on operational & process metrics, working collaboratively with the business to identify opportunities to simplify processes, surface data & improve performanc
Responsibilities:
The Group Finance team is our centre of excellence for all accounting, financial reporting, tax, fixed assets, and financial due diligence for Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI) Ltd and related entities and we now have an opportunity to recruit for the role of Group Finance Manager.
Working closely with the Head of Group Finance, you’ll be a senior member of a team of 10 specialists and will work collaboratively and cross functionally to deliver financial due diligence, reporting requirements and provision of finance driven insights to enable decision makers across Foodstuffs North Island.
