REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
- Likely to be qualified accountant and must demonstrate good knowledge of financial reporting.
- Proven experience in financial analysis or prior experience in finance-related positions.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Excellent financial analytical abilities and financial modelling skills.
- A strong financial modelling background, comfortable in taking a business plan and modelling it all the way from revenues and costs through to Cash Flows, Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Experience in preparing information for banks and other financial institutions.

THE ROLE
Ecocem is shaping the future of low-carbon cement with ambitions to deliver a 50% cut in CO2 emissions from cement by 2030. We are looking for a numerically gifted Financial Analyst Manager. If you enjoy understanding a business through its financial and other data, identifying and quantifying business risks and opportunities, and contributing to management decisions, this is the role for you. To excel here, you need proven knowledge of various financial forecasting methods and the development of KPIs and other business reports. The successful candidate will support the Ecocem Group in ongoing business analysis, forecasting and budgeting, working with country Finance and Business Managers, monitoring short to medium term, working with country Finance and Business Managers, and monitoring short to medium-term performance. You will also work closely with our corporate finance team to determine the medium- to long-term capital funding requirements for the business. This involves translating country-specific business plans into numbers that can be analysed both internally and externally. Success will revolve around succinctly disseminating information through easy to digest tables, charts, and other forms.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting periodic business reviews
- Cash flow forecasting and business analysis.
- Ensuring proper preparation of business cases for investment and development
- Preparation of reports for Senior Managers and the Board
- Supporting the group budgeting and forecasting processes
- Consulting with managers throughout the group, providing financial analysis support.
- Generate 5-year business plan models for the businesses liaising with the corporate finance team to support fund-raising requirements.
- Support preparation of funding documentation and due diligence materials for funding institutions to review.
