Description:

The role will lead the finance function for multiple hotel properties across the group, managing the local finance teams. This is a senior role and will require a candidate experienced and adept in people leadership, with strong commercial and strategic finance delivery skills.
This role is responsible for managing the finance function for key hotels within the group, cultivating strong relationships with all key stakeholders (including external owners), ensuring compliance responsibilities are delivered successfully by the local controllers, supporting key events in the financial calendar (including team objective setting, monthly reporting cycles, capex, budgeting, forecasting and annual audit).

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)

  • Results driven and highly organised while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong systems experience
  • Relevant Hotel Finance experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and performance management of the hotel finance teams within your hotel portfolio.
  • Lead at weekly / monthly meetings with local finance and GMs across the hotels on P&L performance, Cash performance, Capex programmes and Balance Sheet health.
  • Oversight of all weekly and monthly reporting requirements including forecasts to monitor outlook including oversight and submission of monthly/Quarterly owners reporting.
  • Attend at Group and present financial data for your hotels. External reporting, including drafting of owner’s packs and management of reporting to owners, investors, banks, management company and other key external stakeholders.
  • Support and lead on key events within the financial calendar including delivery of the annual Budget and the annual Audit process.
  • Review of process for compliance / standardisation and continuous improvement including risk management to include development and documentation of a strong internal controls framework.
  • Ensure tax compliance across all properties.
  • Holding your hotels to account for their financial performance
