About the role
Boldyn Networks has been on a period of significant growth and as a result of this we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to help facilitate and deliver our risk and internal audit objectives. Additionally, there is an opportunity for this role to specialise in information security.
What you’ll be doing
In this role you will be collaborating with stakeholders spread throughout the company which presents a real opportunity to meet, engage and learn from a wide variety of people including the Global Technology team, the Risk and Audit teams, Group finance and business unit leaders.
Day to day you will support the completion of risk workshops/risk assessments for our markets in the UK, USA, Ireland, Italy, Hong Kong and others, whilst also supporting the reporting for the quarterly Audit and Risk Committee. Reporting to the Group Chief Risk Officer, you will also support the GRC system by inputting data and ensuring all records are complete and accurate with the opportunity to potentially support with some Insurance initiatives.

Day to day you will be focussed on:

  • Supporting the Group Manager for Risk & Privacy to complete risk workshops.
  • Supporting the Group Manager for Risk & Privacy to complete risk reporting.
  • Reviewing risk data for accuracy within the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tool and follow up on actions. Help maintain the data within the GRC Tool.
  • Supporting Group Manager for Audit to complete audit fieldwork and reporting, potentially specialising in information security and conducting reviews against the ISO27001 global standard (appropriate training and mentoring will be provided).

Success in this role will be building good and trusting relationships within the team and the wider business, supporting completion of the audit plan and related administrative activities, support completion of risk workshops and related administrative activities and building your skills, knowledge and experience along the way!
What you’ll bring

  • A recently completed degree in Risk, Business and/or Technology
  • Be confident in communicating to stakeholders with different backgrounds and able to facilitate meetings and workshops
  • Be driven to continue to develop and grow in the risk and audit space
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
