Description:
- Experience in a HR Management role in a 4 or 5-star property would be ideal
- A third level qualification in HR and CIPD accreditation would be preferable.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Director to join the senior management team of this award-winning property in the South-West of Ireland. Reporting to the Managing Director, the HR Director will oversee the Human Resources function of the property, providing strategic direction for the HR team, with a strong focus on team training and development to provide consistently excellent quality guest service.
We are looking for a highly organised HR professional, with excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and knowledge of Irish legislation. Experience in a HR Management role in a 4 or 5-star property would be ideal. A third level qualification in HR and CIPD accreditation would be preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the recruitment, selection and onboarding process for the property.
- Developing and maintaining employee engagement initiatives.
- Providing a strategic direction for the HR function within the business.
- Management of employee relations and learning and development.
- Implementing training and development programmes, focusing on quality of service.
- Managing discretely and promptly any employee relations issues which may arise.
- Assisting and empowering Heads of Department and Managers in their roles, providing support and guidance.
- Overseeing the administration of the HR department to ensure it is completed to the highest of standards and in line with legislative requirements.
- Issuing monthly reports to the Managing, focusing on HR and training budgets, departmental labour costs etc.
