WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
You will bring a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related and at 5-7 years of work experience within the Financial Reporting & Consolidation field.
You have got solid knowledge of accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and good knowledge of Financial Reporting & Consolidation procedures and controls, in addition to mastering of Accounting for Acquisition and harmonization of Financial Reporting Standards.
Moreover, you are fluent in English, you have strong analytical skills and ability to deal with different stakeholders at local and Group level. You have a solution driven approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
You are self-motivated, pragmatic with strong ability to work autonomously to achieve your role’s objectives. As a professional you demonstrate commitment and initiative while you are well-organized and detailed in documentation of activities performed.
In terms of IT skills, you have knowledge in MS Office, particularly in Excel while as a user you have knowledge in SAP and HFM.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
For our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Group IFRS Financial Reporting Specialist who will be working in the Ferrero Group Consolidation Department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Group Financial Reporting Specialist, you will act as the focal point for all the matters related to Consolidated Financial Reporting with reference to the newly acquired Companies and their integration in the Group Financial Reporting Framework.
You will participate to Due diligence analysis, with focus on Financial Reporting aspects, and lead the Purchase Price Allocations. In this role you will interact with all the departments involved in M&A processes and key external and internal stakeholders in order to guarantee a smooth integration of the newly acquired companies in the Group Financial Reporting Framework.
Moreover, you will organize the integration process and prepare periodical reports on the Acquisition & Integration status to share with Top Management and will coordinate External Audit at Global level and the relationship with the Central Audit Team.
You will actively participate to the Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation activities on monthly and yearly basis and in addition, support the Consolidation Manager in analyzing complex IFRS matters, assessing new IFRS Standards and leading the harmonization of the Financial Reporting Standards previously in use by the newly acquired companies with those ones used by the Ferrero Group.
Furthermore, you will perform benchmarks and analysis on the Consolidated FS disclosures and application of the IFRS.
Last but not least, you will provide support to the Consolidation Manager in projects led by or involving the Consolidation department.
