Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Group Sales Manager, you will ensure that the overall sales targets of the Central Reservations Team (CRO) are achieved and surpassed.
Your role involves contributing with creative ideas and professional input to exceed the budgeted targets, optimise team performance, and drive group revenues in collaboration with the Barons Eden commercial leadership team.
Additionally, you will develop and mentor the CRO Team to enhance efficiency and deliver a unique and exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the reservation sales team to ensure efficiency.
  • Work closely with the commercial leadership team to align CRO priorities with business strategy.
  • Complete end-of-day productivity and sales reports to analyse and improve results.
  • Attend daily sales calls and contribute to departmental and business improvements.
  • Provide coaching to improve performance and achieve team excellence.
  • Engage with all departments to ensure the guest experience exceeds expectations.
  • Recruit, coach, train and support the CRO team to create a cohesive and motivated team.
  • Maintain high standards and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and auditing to eliminate errors.
  • Guarantee outstanding service delivery to guests.
  • Develop a clear and effective process for dealing with complaints and review to improve overall performance.
  • Ensure the Property Management System (PMS) is optimised business needs.
  • Lead by example within the team, the wider business, and the community.
