Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good working knowledge with Salesforce/DELPHI.FDC, MS Outlook, Teams, Sertifi E Sign, SendSites, Maestro PMS software, NORM Central Reservations, and Cvent Event Platform.
  • Must possess strong organization and communication skills; ability to prioritize workload, communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong client and guest services skills.
  • Ability to present verbal and written presentations to groups of all sizes.
  • Previous travel, hospitality and or ski industry sales experience.
  • Ability to travel to strategic trade shows, customer events and within assigned territory.
  • Must be available for a varied work schedule and additional hours and days as workload dictates.
  • This position requires work to be done in person and onsite in Park City, UT.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on overnight group accommodations and associated services within Deer Valley Resort and Deer Valley Resort property management companies.
  • Solicit new and existing accounts by prospecting, promoting, contracting to meet/or exceed revenue goals by means of phone, e-mail, in person, trade shows, open houses, familiarization tours, presentations, and other sales methods.
  • Strong account management skills utilizing Salesforce/DELPHI.FDC software
  • Use negotiating skills and creative selling strategies to earn the business and negotiate contracts in the best interest of Deer Valley Resort.
  • Meet/or exceed predetermined annual group lodging revenue and resort services goals as outlined in the resort sales budget.
  • Prepare correspondence to new and existing accounts in a timely manner.
  • Work collectively with team to develop creative ideas and proposals for events.
  • Manage and develop internal and external relationships.
  • Strategically focus and prioritize accounts with significant revenue potential.
  • Develop effective goal setting plans with specific objectives & key results.
  • Strong market understanding - determining competitors’ strength and weakness, economic trends, supply, and demand to use as a selling strategy to earn business.
  • Provide strong and authentic customer service to grow revenue share within new and existing accounts.
