Within the Silversea brand we’re looking for a Groups Sales Specliast to support the sales team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and implement group sales /volume tools strategy for trade partners as requested by Area Directors of Sales in line with annual plans and KPIs
  • In conjunction with the Area Directors of Sales and Sales Team implement an outbound group sales plan activating key group sales agents
  • Prepare and present effective proposals for new group/space contract enquiries; maximize sales opportunities of those enquiries by providing advice on the best solutions to the external partners as well as follow up with internal stakeholders to turn the requests around promptly
  • Support sales teams in particular area Directors of Sales in charter and incentives tasks such as issuing C&I proposals contract lodging maintaining relevant documentations and records
  • Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and existing partners for the various solutions the company offers to their business issues; tailor solutions where required
  • Proactively reach out to prospects and existing partners to seek growing joint business and offering Silversea products
  • Meet or exceed set goals and KPIs
  • Assist in the implementation of company sales & marketing plans as needed
  • Maintain relevant Silversea sales databases and ensure information and sales documents are well organized
  • Keep management informed by submitting weekly activity and results reports; identify areas for improvement
  • Periodically review Silversea sales policies and guidelines against competition and the market developments and recommend changes where needed in order to keep Silversea competitive
  • Monitor sales progress on the established products (group shells space contracts etch); identify underperformance and recommend actions with the sales teams
  • Coordinate smooth execution of sales deals from sales to operations servicing team and back finalizing with client callbacks and group history Communicate all relevant group details to operations team in a timely and effective manner
  • Work with the other sales and operations team members as designated by the Director of Trade Reservations & Sales Support when called upon to maximize total team productivity

About you:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a sales support outbound sales or sales operations roles preferably within travel and hospitality sectors
  • Proven track record in driving tangible results
  • Strong communicator and problem solver
  • Strong knowledge of the sales processes
  • Highly organized self-motivated and capable of working with minimal day-to-day direction
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals
  • Strong understanding of the luxury travel market
  • Takes Initiative and understands a Goal centric environment
  • Analytical and understands logical analyses facts data and situations – experience with Excel and pivot tables a plus
  • Ability to multi task effectively and ensure that all tasks are completed and accurate
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
  • Work both in a small local team and within a larger global team in a highly motivated competitive environment toward a common goal
