Job Description
TOMRA is embarking on an ambitious growth journey, aiming to double its business within the next five years. This journey involves not only accelerating organic growth but also delving into adjacent business opportunities. To achieve this vision, TOMRA is now enhancing its Group Strategy team.
As a key member of the Group Strategy team, you will be instrumental in crafting the journey that will accelerate our growth for a more sustainable future. You will work with TOMRA’s strategies with a particular focus on M&A opportunities.

Some experience working with M&A is a strong benefit, and experience from project management as well as strategy definition and execution are a plus. The full Group Strategy department covers group activities related to strategy, portfolio, M&A, new ventures, communication, brand, and sustainability. The position reports to Director Strategy & M&A – Sebastian Ihlebæk.

2-4 years of relevant experience (Deals, transaction services, investment banking, consulting, strategy, corporate finance, inhouse strategy function or similar)

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree within relevant field
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in English
  • You are comfortable with complexity and handling many stakeholders
  • You are structured, analytical and an initiator
  • You are ambitious and have a global and growth mindset
  • You are motivated by the opportunity to travel and work globally

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and/or support execution of M&A projects, including financial modelling (synergy estimation, target valuation etc).
  • Lead and/or support group-wide strategic deep dive projects across TOMRA
  • Work with new business opportunities for TOMRA; facilitating and drive the process to identify, prioritize, qualify and scale such opportunities
  • Lead and/or support the development of business cases and decision-making documentation for larger investments
  • Ad-hoc market research and analytics tasks
  • Work in a passionate, value driven and engaged environment with focus on personal and professional development
