The City Assets Group is responsible for the strategy, management and project planning of the city’s infrastructure. Including Civil and Traffic, Civic and Open Spaces, Marine, Water and Wastewater and Waste Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

GUIDED BY OUR VALUES, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Administrative Excellence: Provide high-level administrative and financial support, ensuring smooth coordination of processes and initiatives to meet Group, Department, and Organisational objectives.
Project Management: Assist with project management by researching, analysing, interpreting, and presenting information to support the development and implementation of key projects.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including officers from the CEO and Mayors’ offices, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
Financial Management: Contribute to budget preparation, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting, supporting the Group’s financial responsibilities.
Process Improvement: Lead business improvement projects, developing standard operating procedures to ensure audit compliance and service delivery excellence.
Mentoring: Although no direct reports you will mentor and inspire Business Support Officers and Administration Trainees, creating an attractive, rewarding workplace.
