Description:

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship (accountant, tax clerk, tax specialist) or a university degree with a focus on tax law/taxation and ideally have completed the German Tax Advisor Exam.
  • You have relevant professional experience in German and International Taxation.
  • You have experience with common accounting software (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
  • You enjoy questioning the status-quo, have the drive to push boundaries and are not afraid to speak up, you review and develop things further, and want to be part of a fast-paced environment with new challenges everywhere.
  • You are characterized by an independent, careful and structured way of working; you also maintain an overview in work-intensive situationsYou are a true team player and achieve the greatest successes as part of a team.
  • You are fluent German and English

Responsibilities:

  • As part of our group tax team you overlook global Tax Compliance and Accounting from a group perspective as well our teams in Europe, APAC and the Americas.
  • You set-up and monitor efficient Tax Compliance and Accounting processes and are responsible for optimizing them with regards to mainly Corporate Taxes and Withholding Taxes.
  • You are responsible for reporting of tax group key figures.
  • You work closely together with other experts within the team in the International Tax, TP and Indirect tax area to achieve the best possible outcome for the company.
  • You specifically overlook our German entities and are the direct contact to our tax advisors, esp. in Germany and you keep track of and address relevant tax topics in the respective countries.
  • You ensure that we are up to date with developments within global tax policies, international law etc.
  • By collaborating closely with teams across the entire company, you contribute to actively managing tax risks and driving potential for tax optimization among our stakeholders
