AN AWESOME ROLE FOR AN AWESOME PROFESSIONAL
Our Reservations & Groups Supervisor will direct the activities of the Reservations Department, and be responsible for the overall planning of groups, transient reservations and maximising inventory. Working closely with the central reservations and front office teams to convert transient reservations, you will drive group sales strategy in liaison with the hotels Front Office Manager, whilst maximising sales opportunities by passing all sales leads for new business to our dedicated sales teams.
This is an exciting reactive role that will support the established quality and guest service standards and departmental revenue and profit goals. You will work with our Front Office Manager to ensure the agreed strategies are executed for pricing, management of room inventory and/or the yield hurdle points, distribution OTA channels and market segment mix. You are key in ensuring the hotel capitalises its opportunities and maximises its revenues relating to all reservation channels.
YOURS WILL BE AN EXTRAORDINARY ROLE:
- Maximise conversion of all direct booking enquiries through electronic or voice channels.
- Maintain procedures for security of credit and financial transactions, guest security/data protection.
- Use company and Hyatt tools and systems and processes (Opera, Reserve, Hysat, Prio etc ) to maximise revenue.
- Assist with developing plans to increase occupancy and ADR.
- Support the Cluster Revenue Manager, by implementing the agreed revenue strategies via use of revenue systems on a daily basis. This includes the responsibility for any agreed manipulation of the yield hurdle points and daily inventory balancing where appropriate.
- Understand the composition of hotel profitability and uses this to evaluate business from local accounts and groups so as to provide input to future rate setting and negotiation.
- Manage all offline channels and any rate parity issues. Including but not to limited to room types and sells strategy.
- Manage contracting relating to direct Group sales.
- Manage incoming reservation enquiries and secure business in line with agreed strategies, booking policies and procedures.
