Description:

We’re seeking a talented Grouting and Lining Project Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to a major tunneling endeavour. As a Grouting and Lining Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the structural integrity and longevity of tunnels by implementing innovative grouting and lining solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining safety standards, mitigating risks, and optimizing project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement grouting and lining strategies to stabilize soil, control groundwater, and prevent tunnel deterioration.
- Conduct site investigations and assessments to identify potential challenges and develop tailored solutions.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, geotechnical engineers, and construction teams to coordinate activities and achieve project objectives.
- Perform quality control inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve any grouting and lining-related issues that may arise during construction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or similar in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in grouting and lining techniques, preferably in tunneling or underground construction projects.
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, geology, and groundwater behaviour.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for design and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
