Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Verbrec Asset Management continues to grow and becomes a market leader across Australia and New Zealand, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Growth & Business Development Manager to support the Asset Management Team. Reporting to the General Manager, this role forms part of the Business Units leadership team and support Verbrec’s mission and vision to develop and secure opportunities, grow their customer base and manage proposals across their diverse technical capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • With the leadership team, update and refine the growth and business development strategy and achievable growth vision and targets.
  • Drive internal Business Development and Relationship Management processes, including CRM and Key Account Management.
  • Deliver Verbrec growth targets and meet annual business revenue plans.
  • Actively develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure current relationships remain strong.
  • Identify, pursue and secure new work ensuring prospects are progressed through a sales development process to become clients.
  • Support the timely submission of proposals and contract information for various Services offering.
  • Grow Verbrec business in the energy transition, renewables, mining, and Infrastructure industries, as well as oil and gas and other industries.
  • Work as a key member of the commercial review team supporting the sales team to achieve key business performance metrics for order intake and margins.
  • Lead negotiations with clients towards profitable commercial outcomes, payment structure and risks positions for the business.
  • Provide full proposal leadership from initial enquiry to deal closure and handover (track key dates and proposal submission deadlines)
  • Contribute ideas to the design of campaigns and products to ensure our offering remains relevant and competitive in the current market.
