About the role
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, your role will be to coordinate the management of reservations activities.

Key duties;

  • Check guests in and out with efficiency and friendliness and in accordance with the established Hotel procedural guidelines.
  • Reporting to the Front Office Manager you will attend to all guest requests and queries from booking enquiry through to departure. General hotel office duties including but not limited to – taking bookings, checking guests in and out, assigning rooms.
  • To achieve a level of service quality that consistently meets and exceeds the expectations of guests and staff.
  • Communicate any guest special request to the appropriate department(s) and follow up to make certain the request has been fulfilled in accordance with the guest’s wishes.

Skills & experience

  • Have a full working knowledge of all current room rates and packages available at the Hotel.
  • Able to participate in all rostered theoretical and on-the-job training sessions.
  • Confident to adhere to all established cashiering policies and procedures.
  • Able to ensure in conjunction with front office and accounts the AR setup and charge back authorities follow hotel credit procedures.
