Overview:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced GuideWire Developer starting mid-May 2024. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a GuideWire Developer, with strong experience / understanding of DataHub concepts/data models and its integration within GuideWire systems. Previous experience required with: DataHub-related code reviews, configurations, and documentation; naming conventions specific to DataHub and GuideWire environments; and, navigating complex GuideWire systems/DataHub integrations. Active GuideWire certifications would be a great asset. Location: Remote. Candidates must reside in Canada for the duration of the project. Term: Two (2) months. Strong potential of extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Review of Data Hub extensions within GuideWire environment
  • Assessment of documented requirements
  • Recommendations for addressing technical debt, potentially removing extensions.
  • Accessing systems, DataHub, and documentation repository
  • Identification of custom extensions through code and documentation review
  • Provision of suggestions and mitigations for implementation, including naming standards

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with DataHub concepts/data models and its integration within GuideWire Systems is required.
  • Experience implementing and configuring GuideWire modules i.e., Claim Center, Policy Center, Billing Center.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Experience in technologies, i.e., GuideWire Insurance Suite, JAVA, and GOSU.
  • Experience analyzing Datahub requirements and identifying technical debt.
  • Experience navigating complex GuideWire systems and DataHub integrations.
  • Experience reviewing DataHub-related code and technical documentation within GuideWire environments.
  • Understanding of naming conventions specific to DataHub and GuideWire for consistency and maintainability.
  • Education: active GuideWire certifications would be a great asset.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Must reside in Canada for duration of project.
