Description:
OVERVIEW:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced GuideWire Developer (PolicyCenter) starting June 2024. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of GuideWire Policy Center experience developing solutions / enhancements, following best practices, and collaborating on policy related integrations with the integrations team. Previous experience/knowledge of GW Cloud and GW Cloud integration platforms, and developing within GuideWire Cloud, is required. Active GuideWire ACE certification is mandatory.
Term: Twelve (12) months. Strong potential of extension.
Location: Remote* (*Candidates must reside in Canada for the duration of the project).
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop solutions and enhancements within Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Collaborate with the integrations team on policy related integrations.
- Advise on best practices and approaches for enhancements within PolicyCenter.
- Work with and mentor junior developers on the team.
- Create and update reference documentation as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of GuideWire experience developing solutions and enhancements within GuideWire PolicyCenter.
- Experience working with, and developing in, GuideWire Cloud
- Strong knowledge of GW Cloud and GW Cloud integration platforms
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
- Experience with GuideWire Insurance Suite, JAVA, and GOSU.
- Education: active GuideWire ACE certification is required.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Must reside in Canada for duration of project.
