Description:
The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking Gymnastics Instructors for our recreational gymnastics program (preschool and school aged).
Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, and dependable. A background in teaching gymnastics or tumbling is preferred, but not necessary. Candidates must enjoy working with children ages 18 months to 12 years old and have a positive attitude! We offer excellent training and pay. Immediate openings are available for qualified individuals.
Shifts: Monday - Thursday 4-7pm

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 12 months of gymnastics experience
- Preferred background in dance
- Demonstrates strong spotting skills or expresses willingness to learn how to spot
- Ability to relate well to children and teens
- Positive, enthusiastic, and respectful attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative, caring, committed
Pay Rate: $15.00 to $20.00/hour

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily class routines, attendance, and schedules
- Provide coaching and leadership to all participants
- Establish and implement ongoing communication with families
- Oversee progress of designated students
