JOB SUMMARY

In the hair stylist role, you will shampoo, blow-dry, cut, color, and style the customer’s hair. You will be responsible for making the customer feel relaxed and pampered throughout the session. You must maintain extensive knowledge about current trends in haircuts and hair styling.

• Minimum Qualification: Diploma
• Experience Level: Entry level
• Experience Length: 2 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a hairstylist
• Must reside on the Island

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Client Consultations: Greet clients and conduct thorough consultations to understand their hair care needs and preferences.
• Hair Cutting and Styling: Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, and finishing techniques for men, women, and children.
• Coloring: Apply hair coloring, highlights, lowlights, and other coloring techniques according to client requests and industry standards.
• Treatments: Provide hair treatments such as deep conditioning, keratin treatments, and scalp treatments.
• Customer Service: Ensure an exceptional client experience by maintaining a friendly, professional, and clean salon environment.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest hair care products and techniques and recommend products to clients based on their needs.
• Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including sanitation and sterilization of tools and equipment.
• Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
