Responsibilities:
As a Hardware Asset Manager, you’ll oversee the entire lifecycle of the hardware at Worldpay, from acquisition to disposal. You’ll be the maestro of organization, ensuring our hardware inventory is meticulously tracked and optimized for cost and performance.
- Develop and implement ITAM (IT Asset Management) strategies, best practice, and procedures to optimize data management.
- Manage hardware throughout its lifecycle: acquisition, deployment, maintenance, disposal.
- Develop complex hardware asset reports and automate data population tasks for efficient analysis.
- Troubleshoot hardware asset data discrepancies and resolve complex data quality issues.
- Provide training, expert advice, and guidance on hardware asset functionalities and ITAM principles.
- Optimize hardware asset utilization and lifecycle costs and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure hardware asset compliance.
- Standardize asset configurations to optimize costs and support efficiency.
- Manage asset procurement, ensuring adherence to vendor contracts.
- Manage the End-of-Life process for assets, facilitating hardware refresh cycles and oversee proper disposal of old equipment.
- Collaborate with IT, procurement, and legal teams.
