Description:

GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF:


  • integrated circuits (ex : microprocessors, SoC, DSP, FPGA, ASIC)

  • printed circuit board tools

  • laboratory testing equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.)

  • communication protocols (ex. Ethernet, PCIe, USB, etc.), high-speed link (SERDES) as well as high-speed memory interface

  • Experience in ASIC / FPGA design is an asset

  • Experience in analog circuits design is an asset

  • Excellent ability to adapt to a variety of environments and methodologies

  • Capacity to communicate ideas and efficient solutions to customers

  • Supportive attitude towards others and ability to influence them positively

  • Ability to establish priorities and estimate deadlines (senior profile)

  • Problem solving abilities

  • Committed, creative and curious

  • Good communication skills (oral and written)

Responsibilities:

YOUR MAIN DAILY TASKS AS AN HARDWARE DESIGNER AT ORTHOGONE


  • Participate in system definition and architecture, in collaboration with FPGA and software teams

  • Write technical specifications for printed circuits boards, according to higher level defined requirements

  • Design and create electrical circuit diagrams

  • Closely monitor and verify printed circuit board designs

  • Analyze, simulate and verify critical signal integrity

  • Participate in laboratory tests, debugging and integration

  • Participate in system integration, in collaboration with hardware, FPGA and software development teams
