What you’ll do:
In this role, you will learn to design, develop and test digital electronics including FPGAs for commercial, military, airborne, and space products. You will work on a collaborative team of RF, power converter, mechanical, embedded SW, manufacturing and test engineers to ensure successful product development and transfer to production.

The day-to-day:

  • Developing digital hardware solutions to challenging technical problems

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering and/or related field
  • Knowledge of FPGA and digital circuit design
  • Working knowledge and experience with Python
  • Experience with Verilog and/or System Verilog

What will help you on the job:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering and/or related field
  • Previous relevant internship or work experience
  • Eagerness and interest to work with both coding and hardware projects

Salary range: $85,800.00 - $144,500.00 / annually : At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
