JOB SUMMARY
In this pivotal role, you will play a key role across the entire hardware development lifecycle – from conceptual design to regulatory compliance. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers and scientists from the Research, Technology, and Innovation (RTI) divisions to bring innovative hardware solutions to fruition.

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex hardware components for the collaborative project.
- Collaborate on defining the overall system architecture for seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and troubleshooting of hardware prototypes to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Implement and maintain robust quality assurance (QA) procedures throughout the development process.
- Partner with the team to ensure hardware designs adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements for the energy sector.
- Develop clear and concise technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hardware design and development, with a demonstrated ability to bring complex systems to market.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and design principles.
- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Extensive experience with hardware testing and debugging methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality assurance (QA) principles and practices in the hardware development industry.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements for hardware in the energy sector (a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
