OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Health Care Aide Clinical Instructor to join our School of Health. You will be reporting the the Manager, Operations School of Health.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of current Health care experience, preferably working in Long Term Care
  • LPN/RN license (required)
  • Current CPR and PHIA (preferred)
  • Confident and self-managing

    Job Type: Fixed-term contract (Part-time)
    Salary Rate: $34.00–$37.89
    Schedule: Monday - Friday (Day/Evening Shift)
    Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:

  • Be available to problem solve all students and staff for questions and concerns daily
  • Support and guide students in a positive learning environment on duties and responsibilities of a HCA
  • Monitor students skill on assigned tasks while out on practicum
  • Complete weekly report on students and their progress
  • Provide feedback and assistance to student on positive or “need to work on” statements
  • Collaborate with the preceptor/staff in completing a final evaluation on the student’s practical performance
  • Facilitate on filling out practicum checklists
  • Review final evaluations with each student
  • Document daily performance on students
