JOB DESCRIPTION

The isolved HCM Benefits Manager is an integral leader of the HCM Benefits Team that will play a role in leading, mentoring, and coaching teams to their greatest potential while partnering with and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and other internal teams including Sales, Customer Success, isolved Benefits Services, EDI and Customer Support. The manager is expected to create efficiencies, keep abreast of industry compliance and legislative changes, and act as an escalation point of contact.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3- 6 years in a leadership role, preferably in a client service industry.
  • Software experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Subject Matter Expert in Benefits Administration including in depth knowledge of benefit plans, benefits admin technology, COBRA, Fringe Benefits, and EDI/carrier feeds.
  • Subject Matter Expert of the Affordable Care Act.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Logical problem solver with excellent follow through.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Proven ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop potential internal rock star talent.
  • Monitor regularly departmental SWOT(s), identifying and bringing resolution to gaps within.
  • Ensure daily operations of the business are meeting customer service level agreements, and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage escalated client issues, taking action to drive resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Establish benchmarks for success, tracking metrics to ensure that established levels are on target and achieved.
  • Work through Microsoft Office 365 Dynamics for projects, cases, metrics, etc., developing improvements and efficiencies to current processes.
  • Partner with internal resources on company initiatives.
  • Manage team workloads, re-distributing or re-assigning, as needed.
  • Evaluate team member performance, establishing, cascading both team and organizational goals with appropriate follow-up.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members in conjunction with Team Leads, providing developmental feedback and coaching.
  • Develop and administer corrective action and performance improvement plans, when applicable.
  • Collaborate with HCM Benefits Director on team development and succession planning.
  • Understand and be able to complete all job responsibilities of team roles during peak season and/or during short staff times.
  • Adhere to company and departmental policies, leading through example.
  • Engage in company opportunities, leading special committees.
