We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our clients bustling beach front restaurant. Nestled in the heart of Umhlanga, their establishment is known for its stunning views, fresh Mediterranean menu, and laid-back yet sophisticated atmosphere. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented chef to showcase their culinary skills and manage a dedicated kitchen team.
Our clients restaurant is a favourite for breakfast meetings, romantic dinners, and social sundowners, offering guests a memorable dining experience with a friendly ambience. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, leadership, and a commitment to quality, ensuring their menu continues to delight both regular patrons and new visitors.
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef, preferably in a high-volume restaurant setting
Strong background in Mediterranean cuisine
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to create innovative and appealing menus that reflect seasonal ingredients
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
