I am seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations and drive culinary excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong culinary skills and a creative approach to menu development.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing and motivating teams.
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding organisational and time-management skills.
- A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Develop and execute seasonal menus
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Oversee inventory management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
