Description:

We are seeking a new Head Chef to join our team at a busy venue in Sydney’s inner western suburbs. The work is in a fast-paced setting, with a rotating roster over 7 days. We are open for lunch and dinner. The kitchen produces a changing seasonal menu, keeping up with current food trends, giving our customers a memorable experience.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualifications in Cookery – Diploma level preferred
  • Minimum of three years in a leadership role in a quality restaurant environment
  • Enjoy working in a busy environment with a true passion for cooking
  • A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach
  • Strong and detailed business acumen for kitchen operations
  • Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative and organised environment where team members take pride in their work
  • Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to plan for the future
  • Motivated, with a drive to challenge yourself daily and deliver the very best
  • Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
