Description:

The Merrion, one of Dublin’s finest luxury hotels is recruiting for a Head Concierge.
This is a fulltime permanent role.
The Head Concierge will oversee and manage a team comprising Supervisors, Doormen, and Car Valet Parkers. Based in the Front Hall, the Head Concierge will be both guest and employee focused. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a Concierge role in a 5* hotel, will have a solid working knowledge of the Opera property Management system and will have a hands on experience in managing teams. They will also have a strong working knowledge of the English language both spoken and written.

Duties will include:

  • Offering a warm welcome to all visitors to The Merrion
  • Working to Leading Hotels of the World standards on a consistent basis
  • Communicating efficiently and effectively with many other departments to ensure the best of Guest care
  • Reviewing Departmental SOPS and updating as required
  • Growing and developing those on the Concierge team through training and performance review
  • Leading by example -professionalism, impeccable grooming & presentation and discretion, amongst other criteria.
