BASE QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management roles, with at least 1 years in a leadership position.
• Strong technical expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting standards (National GAAP and ideally IFRS), and internal controls.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex accounting processes, including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and audit coordination.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional areas at all levels of the organization.
• Hands-on approach, roll up sleeves and dive into details when necessary, while also maintaining a strategic focus on long-term objectives.
• Fluent in English and German language

We are hiring an experienced Head of Accounting to join our team at Circus. Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in Circus’s financial activities.
